Musician and father, Dierks Bentley, passes on the value of charity

Last year, Grammy Award-nominated country singer Dierks Bentley released “Woman, Amen” from his studio album The Mountain. An emotional ode to his wife, the song not only shot to the top of the charts as a fan favourite, but critics singled out the track for positively changing the way women are portrayed in country songs.

Writing with love and compassion is something that comes naturally to this singer/songwriter. As he shares during a backstage interview at WE Day California, these values are embedded deep within his home life and at the core of the lessons he and his wife are passing down to their children. Always looking for an opportunity to give back as a family, he encourages them to remember that “when you’ve had a chance to climb your own mountain, always look back and see who you can help on their journey.”
