WE Schools is committed to using the latest technology to deliver our message, so we’ve developed three unique virtual programs—The Global Classroom, Youth Talks and WE Speaks—to help us extend our reach and help you, the students and educators of the world, take action and Get Doing, no matter where you live.

These events allow educators and students to connect with others around the world to learn from each other and be inspired to take action. Through Skype, classrooms everywhere can participate in a facilitated session and a live broadcast from the WE Global Learning Center that will bring together students, educators and subject matter experts. Plus, we provide groups with all the resources needed, such as videos and workbooks, to prepare for the chosen topic.
This program focuses on social justice and puts you in control of your learning by letting you lead discussions with thought leaders, affected communities and influencers. Connecting with peers via Skype, you’ll tackle topics such as consumerism, child labor, environmental sustainability, digital citizenship, well-being, social entrepreneurship and more, in an intimate, engaging and innovative learning space.
Our speaker series, designed to engage educators and provide them with expert insight and dialogue on relevant and important topics in education—available around the world via Skype (also on location at the WE Global Learning Center in Toronto). Each WE Speaks is unique and captivating, and offers participants practical follow-up steps. Past speakers include: Martin Luther King III, Dr. Michael Unger and Dr. Jean Clinton.
