The unique, four-step WE Schools program challenges young people to identify causes that spark their passion and empowers them to take action. Through the service-learning campaigns and curriculum, students gain an understanding of the root causes of issues like hunger, poverty and access to education, and gain the skills to plan and carry out at least one local and one global action to make a difference. The program also includes educational resources and a calendar full of action campaign ideas to inspire them.
The WE Schools Kit is designed to help you empower your students with the tools to make a difference in their communities at home and around the world. Available on Microsoft OneNote you can use this interactive resource to collaborate and create action plans with your peers. The WE Schools Kit is also available as printer-friendly PDFs.
Lesson plans, activities, articles and a full library of resources.
