The Martin Family Initiative (MFI) works to improve not only K-12 education for Indigenous children, but also the wider determinants that influence their educational outcomes, including their health and well being, MFI does this by bringing together Indigenous organizations, the business community, post-secondary institutions, First Nation schools and provincially funded school boards to implement programs that support Indigenous students.
