When you’re thirsty, what do you do to get water? The answer changes depending on where you live. Do you turn on a tap? Open a water bottle? Fill a bucket from a rainwater catchment system? Walk to the nearest river and fill up a 20L jerry can?

Concerns also change based on where you call home. How clean is the water you are drinking? How far do you have to go to get it?

On World Water Day, these are the questions and concerns we need to be asking ourselves, as a group of North American students discovered on their recent ME to WE trip to Kenya.

Watch and learn how these teens walked miles in another’s shoes and came out with a new perspective. The final question the students posed? How can we work together to create better water access for all.
