William McDonald School To raise awareness on the issue of online bullying, students at William McDonald School came together to create a touching, poetic music video. It’s their first step in creating a bully-free school and community, and it was even shown at their local movie theatre to help spread their message of positivity. Rap Battle for Good
Together with TELUS and WE, students came to the WE Global Learning Center to talk about online bullying. Hip-hop artist SonReal performed his deeply moving hit “No More,” and some of North America’s best battle rappers lead a Rap Battle for Good. It was creative, it was fun and it empowered these young people to rise above to #EndBullying. Catch all the positive action in this video!
In honour of Pink Shirt Day, a day for raising awareness about bullying, WE employees decided to spread some cheer online and surprised their colleagues with messages of appreciation. Ever wonder what people do when you spontaneously appreciate them in public? They smile; they may even blush! What better way to demonstrate the power of positive words?
