These affiliated charities were created through various reasons including the wishes of a founding donor and at the advice of legal counsel. From a legal standpoint, WE Charity is the founding or sole member of these charities.  This gives WE Charity specific legal rights over all of the above entities, which enables the Board of WE Charity to maintain oversight.
