Watch Craig Kielburger on CNN.com

In 1995, 12-year-old Craig Kielburger started a school club in his Grade 7 class that would go on to become WE Charity, a global movement empowering youth to fight child labour by breaking the cycle of poverty.

Recently, CNN International spoke to Craig about his story as part of the network’s My Freedom Project, an initiative to raise awareness of modern slavery and the millions of people living in bonded labour around the world.

Watch WE’s co-founder as he reflects on his decades-long journey, and inspires the next generation of young leaders to take up the fight against child labour and systemic poverty.
